Trauma-Informed Practice

A little bit of my story

I offer psychotherapy that helps people explore their inner experiences and the patterns in their relationships that may be causing distress or keeping them stuck. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through safe and trusting connection.

In our work together, I provide a consistent and supportive presence where you can feel genuinely seen and heard—perhaps in ways you haven’t experienced before. I draw on a trauma-informed and depth-oriented approach, using The Conversational Model, which focuses on how past experiences shape the way we see ourselves and relate to others, often in ways we’re not fully aware of.

With over 20 years of experience, I’ve supported people through a wide range of challenges, including complex trauma, difficulties in relationships, anxiety, depression, identity struggles, and suicidal thoughts. I worked in acute mental health teams, and community-based mental health services.

Skills and Interests

I specialise as a trauma-informed psychotherapist, holding a Master of Science in Medicine (Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy) and a Bachelor of Social Work, both from the University of Sydney.

My professional interests and areas of expertise include Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, ADHD, Autism, Self-Harm, Suicidal Thoughts, Personality Disorders and Complex Trauma.

Professional memberships

I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW); a member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychotherapy (ANZAP) and Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

How can I help

I welcome people of all backgrounds and identities, and work with individuals aged 13 and over. I understand the courage it takes to begin therapy and offer a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where clients can move at their own pace. Whether someone is seeking support for a specific concern or is curious about deeper patterns in their life and relationships, I work collaboratively to support insight, agency, and emotional growth.
